A Bangkok birthday photoshoot, done properly
Most party photos end up as blurry phone shots nobody wants to share. A dedicated birthday photographer fixes that. We document the toasts, the cake, the people you flew in to see, and the small reactions you'd otherwise miss. That's what good birthday photography is for.
We work the room without taking it over. No staged group shots unless you ask. Just candid photography that looks the way the night actually felt. It's party photography in Bangkok done with the same care we bring to weddings.

Rooftop bars, hotels, and party venues in Bangkok
We shoot regularly at most of the city's known birthday venues, so we already know the lighting, the staff, and where the best angles are. Most of our celebration photography happens at one of these spots:
Panoramic rooftop bars
- Lebua at State Tower (Sky Bar) for skyline photos and a dressier crowd

Rooftop venues for larger groups
- Pastel Rooftop Bar works well for bigger parties. It's technically a rooftop, but the view isn't panoramic. The trade-off is more space, full dining options, and a layout designed for groups
We also shoot at hotel ballrooms, private dining rooms, restaurants, pool decks, and private residences. If you've already booked a venue, send the name and we'll let you know what to expect from a photo standpoint.

All sessions run from afternoon onwards. For birthday parties, we usually recommend starting coverage 30 to 45 minutes before your guests arrive. That gives us time to shoot the venue, the decor, and a few solo portraits in good light.
Two to three hours of coverage is enough for most parties. We focus on the front half of the night when energy and lighting are at their best, then capture key moments like the cake and toasts as they happen.
For golden hour rooftop shots, we'll work back from sunset and confirm the ideal arrival time during planning.
Outfit and planning tips
A few choices in advance will improve your final gallery noticeably:
- Solid colours photograph cleaner than tight prints or fine patterns
- Jewel tones like emerald, sapphire, and burgundy hold up well against city lights
- Light layers in linen, silk, or cotton handle Bangkok's warmth and add visual interest
- Resort wear in saturated colours fits poolside and daytime venues
- Statement accessories work, but skip large reflective pieces that bounce flash

Add makeup, hair, or a videographer

Birthday photoshoot packages
Three coverage options based on session length:
- Sabai Session at 11,000 THB. Around 1 hour, up to 200 edited photos, 1 to 2 locations. Good for shorter celebrations or a focused cake-and-toast block
- Sanook Photoshoot at 19,000 THB. Around 2 hours, up to 600 edited photos, express 24-hour editing included. The most popular option for birthday parties
- Sawasdee Deluxe at 34,000 THB. Around 4 hours, unlimited photos, private transport between venues, express 24-hour editing. For larger parties or multi-venue nights

How booking works
- Send your details. Date, venue, group size, and the type of coverage you want
- We confirm timing. We suggest the best arrival time based on your venue and any golden hour considerations
- Pay a 30% deposit to lock in your slot
- Shoot day. We arrive early, blend in, and document the night
- Receive your gallery within 3 business days, or 24 hours on packages with express editing included
For peak season dates between November and February, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead. Off-peak dates can often be confirmed within a few days.

How far in advance should I book a birthday photographer?
2 to 4 weeks for peak season (November to February). Off-peak dates are usually flexible up to a few days out. If your venue is already locked in, send the date as soon as possible.
How long should I book the photographer for?
For most birthday parties, 2 hours is the sweet spot. It covers arrivals, the main moments, and group photos without dragging into late-night phases where photo quality drops. Larger or multi-venue parties usually need the 4-hour package.
Which rooftop bar works best for birthday photos?
Lebua and Yao are our top picks for skyline shots and panoramic views. For larger groups that want full dinner service, Pastel Rooftop Bar is the better fit even though the view isn't panoramic. Lighting matters as much as the view itself, so avoid venues that go very dark after sunset.
Can I add makeup, hair, or video to my booking?
Yes. Our in-house MUA team starts at 4,000 THB for women's packages and 3,000 THB for men's. A short photo reel add-on is 2,000 THB. Full event videography is quoted based on coverage length. Add any of these when you enquire.
What equipment do you use?
Sony A7R V with prime lenses (35mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.4) for low-light party work. Prime lenses produce sharper images at indoor and evening venues than zoom lenses, which is why we use them for night shoots.
How and when do I receive the photos?
Through a private Google Drive link, usually within 3 business days. Sanook and Sawasdee packages include 24-hour express editing. Files stay on our drive for 2 years after delivery.
