Bangkok Ancient City Photoshoot at Muang Boran

A private session at Muang Boran, the 320-hectare open-air museum around 30 km from the city centre. Photograph architecture from across Thailand in one afternoon, with someone who already knows the routes, the angles and the light.

From 19k THB / $575 for up to 2 hours. One photographer, full edit, files within 24 hours.

Why book a session here

A big site, one focused afternoon

Muang Boran is not a temple stop you can walk through in 30 minutes. It is a 320-hectare park with structures spread across the grounds, and visitors can easily spend hours working out which spots are best on camera.

That is where having a bangkok ancient city photographer who already knows the park matters. We have shot 70+ sessions here and know which buildings work best from each angle, when the light is right at each spot, and how to move between them without losing time. You get a varied set and an easier afternoon.

The session pairs well with Thai costume looks, so if you want a traditional dress as part of it, browse the Thai costume rental options before you book.

Bangkok ancient city photoshoot pricing

Three tiers depending on how much of the park you want to cover, how many outfit changes you want, and how relaxed you want the pace to be. We normally plan each session to finish around sunset, so the start time works backwards from there.

One photographer per session

Every booking is private. One photographer comes to the session and stays with you the whole time, so the style stays consistent across the set.

Buggy at the park

The park is large, so we normally use a buggy to move between locations. The rental is paid separately at the park and the counter asks for a licence or passport / ID. We handle the driving during the session, so you do not need to plan the route yourself.

How the day runs

From booking to delivery

  1. 01

Tell us your dates and group size. Send an enquiry from this page. Short-notice bookings are fine, just send a message and we will check the date.

  2. 02

We agree on outfits, package and timing. If you want a Thai look, browse the costume rental options in advance. Costumes can be picked up at the park or in the city.

  3. 03

We meet at the ticket office. Start time depends on your package. Sunset shifts through the year, so we work backwards from it when setting your start.

  4. 04

Edited images arrive within 24 hours. Delivered through a private online gallery, ready for download in high resolution.

Getting there

Three ways to reach the park

Muang Boran sits in Samut Prakan, about 30 km southeast of the city centre. Pick whichever option fits your group and budget. We meet you at the entrance.

By Grab or taxi

The simplest option. Around 350 to 450 THB ($11 to $14) from the centre via Grab. The journey takes 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.

By BTS plus songthaew

The lowest-cost route. BTS Sukhumvit Line to Kheha (final stop), then songthaew number 36 to Muang Boran. About 100 THB / $3 total round trip.

By private car or driver

Best for families or larger groups. You can hire a driver for the day and bring them into the park (they need their own ticket). You get air conditioning between stops and more privacy for outfit changes.

Good to know

Before your bangkok ancient city photoshoot

Why is the minimum session 2 hours?

The park is large and far from the centre. A one-hour session barely scratches the surface given the travel time. Two hours is the smallest package that gives you a varied set from this location.

What should we wear?

Around the temple structures we recommend covering shoulders, midriff and knees. Men should avoid tank tops. A traditional Thai costume works especially well across the site.

When is the best time of year to visit?

November to February is generally the most comfortable period, with lower humidity and milder temperatures. March to May is the hottest stretch, so the late-afternoon window matters more. June to October is the wetter part of the year; short showers are common, though longer spells of rain are possible too.

Can we add the Erawan Museum?

Yes. The Erawan Museum is about 6 km away and pairs naturally with the longer packages. It gives you a very different architectural setting, centred on the enormous three-headed elephant structure.

Can we kiss in the images?

Most spots in the park are fine for close, romantic poses. Around sacred or religious structures we keep it more reserved. We will direct you on the day so it stays appropriate.

Is the entry fee included in the package?

No. Park entry is paid by you, currently 700 THB / $21 at the gate or around 380 THB if you book through Klook in advance. The buggy rental and any costume rental on site are also paid separately.

Ready to book your session at the park?

Send us your dates and we'll check the available slots. Sessions normally finish around sunset with a 2-hour minimum, and we handle the route, the timing and the light.
