Jungle vibe in central Bangkok
Baan Suan is a large garden restaurant tucked into the Sathon district. Inside the grounds you get a waterfall, oversized monstera leaves, koi ponds, coconut palms, parrots.
Drinks and food make natural props on this shoot. Matcha, Thai coffee, fresh coconuts, anything off the menu fits the look.
The location sits next to Benchakitti Forest Park and One Bangkok Mall, so it pairs cleanly with either in a longer session.
Three typical use cases
Solo & couples lifestyle
The garden gives a softer, greener alternative to a city or studio shoot. Sit at the waterfall, walk through the leaves, drink a coconut. The photos look unposed.
Lifestyle sessionsFamily sessions
The koi ponds and parrots help with kids, they have something to look at while we shoot. The space is open enough to handle small group setups.
Family photographyBusiness portraits
For a green setting instead of an office or grey studio. Works for personal brand, founder portraits, and laptop-and-coffee scenes that read warmer than a corporate shoot.
Business workTwo things worth knowing
Indoor versus outdoor: most clients want the garden, so we work outside. The indoor rooms have their own atmosphere but the lighting is dim. We use them when you specifically want that mood, otherwise we stay outside.
There is also an upper floor most visitors miss. Useful when the ground level is full.
On weekends, especially in season, the restaurant fills up. We have shot here at full capacity many times and it still works, but a weekday afternoon gives more breathing room around each spot.
Outdoor garden, our main shooting area
Multiple indoor rooms, dimmer light, mood-specific use
Upper floor most visitors miss, useful at peak times
Weekday afternoons are quietest, weekends fill up in season
