Wedding Dress Rental and Pre-Wedding Dress Rental in Bangkok
We help you find the right dress, suit, or costume before your Bangkok photoshoot.
Renting a wedding gown in Bangkok is easy. Finding one just for pre-wedding photos is not, since most shops treat that as an afterthought next to their real wedding stock. Some couples bring a dress from home instead. Others just want a Thai or Chinese costume for one afternoon of photos and nothing else.
We handle this part of the planning before a single photo gets taken. Our stylist and hair and makeup artist walk you through the options, point you to the right shop or tailor for your budget, and prepare your full look for the shoot.
Your Styling Consultation Covers
- A realistic budget range for your outfit type
- Specific shop names and locations that match your style
- Timing advice so outfit shopping fits before your shoot date
- Hair and makeup booking to match the finished look

Bridal Dress and Groom Suit
10,000–300,000 THBThis is the classic wedding dress rental most couples picture: a white or ivory bridal gown paired with a matching groom's suit, styled together for a full wedding photoshoot look. Pricing depends on the shop and the amount of embroidery.

2 of 5 · Traditional Couple Set
Thai Dress and Groom Suit
10,000–300,000 THBA matched couple set: a traditional Thai dress for the bride paired with a coordinating suit for the groom, styled as one look instead of two separate rentals. Pricing depends on fabric and whether jewelry is included.

Pre-Wedding Dress Rental
10,000–300,000 THBThis is the option most couples actually ask for once they realize it's a separate category: a dress or suit rented purely for photos, not for a ceremony. See our pre-wedding photography page for how this fits into a full session. Many couples reuse a dress they already own instead.

Thai Costume
300–1,000 THB per setA Thai costume adds a clear cultural marker to the photos without the cost or formality of a full Thai wedding set. Full details on sizing and pickup are on our Thai costume rental page, usually with an umbrella, a handbag, a fan, or a decorative sword included.

Chinese Costume
300–1,000 THB per setChinese-style costumes work the same way, with matching accessories. Couples often pair this look with an old-town location for photos that match the outfit's tone.
What About the Groom's Suit?
Most Bangkok rental shops built their inventory around the bride's dress first, and the groom's rack is smaller by comparison. A common gap: many shops rent only the jacket and pants, and leave shoes out of the package entirely.
This isn't a flaw specific to one shop. It's how the market works here. Suit tailors are common in Bangkok, often on the same street as the dress shop, and getting a fully custom groom set made at one of them is usually a better use of time than hunting for rental shoes that fit.
Pricing You Can Expect
We charge directly for the shoot itself and any add-ons. The outfit gets paid to whichever shop or tailor your stylist recommends.

Before You Book
Every outfit consultation and shop recommendation is available to clients who book a photoshoot with us. This isn't a standalone rental or referral service.
Photos on this page show real outfits from past shoots, for illustration only. The exact dress, suit, or costume may no longer be available at the shop we recommend.
Formal gowns and Thai national dress aren't permitted inside temples, public parks, or rooftop bars in Thailand. Street photography, riverside areas, and art districts work well instead.
We book weddings and pre-wedding shoots across Thailand, not just Bangkok. If you're planning a session in Phuket, Khao Yai, or another province, mention it during your consultation so pricing and logistics can be adjusted.
How Real Couples Sorted Their Outfits
We had a video call with the stylist two weeks before flying in from Norway. She sent us three dress shops based on our budget and one tailor for my husband's suit. Everything fit within a day of arriving, no back and forth.
I work in logistics and I like things planned out, so the consultation call before the trip made sense to me right away. They didn't try to rent us anything themselves, just told us honestly which shop suited our budget and which tailor down the street could make my suit properly.
We did a Thai costume and a Chinese costume in the same afternoon, changing at the shop between the two. The fan and the small umbrella that came with the rental made the old-town photos look better than I expected for how cheap the sets were.
