Marriage Proposal Photographer
Your Surprise Proposal Photoshoot in Bangkok
You planned the moment down to the minute. They'll say yes in three seconds. Without a photographer there, the look on their face lives only in your memory.

We've shot over 150 proposal photoshoots across Bangkok since 2019. Rooftop bars, riverside parks, the old city: we know how to capture your engagement without your partner spotting us.

Why Hire a Pro
Why You Want a Marriage Proposal Photographer There
Your engagement happens once. The shock on your partner's face, the tears, the laugh that comes after the yes: it all unfolds in seconds.
A wedding proposal photographer turns those seconds into images you'll show your kids one day. We document the full story, from the nervous wait to the ring reveal to the call home.
Here's what you get when you book us:
- Discreet coverage so your partner stays in the dark until you drop the question
- Edited photos and a video in your inbox within two days
- Local know-how from a team who has shot at every spot we recommend
Packages start at 11,000 baht for full coverage.

The Method
Two Ways We Shoot Your Proposal Photoshoot
Paparazzi Style
We blend in. Nobody on your side spots us, so the whole surprise stays intact.
At rooftop bars like Sirocco and Yao, we look like the venue's house photographer. Nobody questions a camera in those settings.
Planned Couple Session
You tell your partner you booked a couple shoot. Halfway through, you drop to one knee.
We're closer, so the details (the ring, the tears, the hands) come out sharp. Your partner still gets the shock, just with cleaner photos.

Testimonials
Stories from Newly Engaged Couples
We wanted a full surprise, so paparazzi style was the right call. My fiancée had no idea anyone was shooting until after she said yes. The photos caught every reaction: the shock, the tears, the laugh that followed. Having those moments documented this well means everything to us.
I was nervous coordinating from abroad, but planning was smooth. They knew Benchakitti Park inside out and told me exactly where to stand, no stress. The sunset shots by the lake came out incredible. My now-fiancée cried when she saw them. Couldn't have asked for better.
Proposing at Sirocco was already a moment. Having a wedding proposal photographer catch it made it unforgettable. They blended in, so my partner thought they were just shooting the venue. The video with clear audio of my speech is something we'll keep coming back to. Discreet, pro, and the results went past what I expected.

Best Proposal Spots in Bangkok
These six spots are where we've shot the most engagements. We know the angles, the light, and the timing at each one. Other locations work too, but these are where we can guarantee strong results.
Over 100 historic structures across 200 acres, all in one open-air park. Plenty of dramatic backdrops for the moment you drop to one knee.
Note: our 2-hour package is the minimum for this location.
Excellent privacy, with a large lake and city skyline behind you. The layout has secluded corners away from foot traffic, ideal for an intimate moment.
Quiet paths, mature trees, and a central lake right in the city. Note that Lumphini gets more foot traffic than Benchakitti, so it feels less private.
The Chao Phraya River at golden hour, with boats gliding past Wat Arun in the background. Riverside spots can fill up at peak times.
63rd-floor restaurant with 360-degree skyline views. The golden dome and architecture add elegance to every frame.
No reservation needed. Minimum spend: 1,200 baht per person on drinks.
32nd floor of Bangkok Marriott The Surawongse, with Chinese-inspired design and a view across both Old Town and the high-rise skyline.
Reservations not required. Call ahead to check for private events.
Style Guide
What to Wear for Your Engagement Photos
The right outfit changes how the photos read. Pick complementary colors instead of matching outfits. If one of you wears a pattern, the other should keep it solid.
- Parks: smart casual works best. A flowing dress, or a clean shirt with chinos.
- Rooftop bars: formal is a must. Men in collared shirts and long trousers, women in an elegant dress.
- Shoes: break them in before the day, since comfort beats style every time.
- Colors: neutral tones photograph well and won't date.
In the Moment
Making the Most of the Moment
Real reactions read better than posed ones. After your partner says yes, don't rush. Hug, talk, laugh. Those few extra seconds give us the strongest images.
When you kneel, face your partner with your side toward the camera. This angle shows both faces. After the yes, hold up the ring, kiss, and stay close.

Keep It Going
Continuing Your Session After the Yes
Once the surprise is out and you've had a minute to celebrate, we keep shooting. This is your chance to grab proper couple portraits while you're both still glowing.
You're already dressed up. We can take relaxed shots at the same spot or move to a second venue for a different look.
Your Announcement
Making Your Announcement
Pro photos lift your announcement above a phone snap. Post on Instagram, send the news to family, or print save-the-dates: the photos do the heavy lifting.
You're already on location, in your outfit, and riding the high. It's the right moment to grab a few announcement-ready portraits.
How It Works
Planning Your Proposal Day
Booking a marriage proposal photographer is the easy part. Four steps keep things smooth from the first call to delivery:
Book Early
Weekends and holidays fill fast. Reach out at least two weeks ahead.
Pick Your Time
Afternoon onwards works best for natural light. Golden hour gives the warmest tones.
Plan the Cover Story
Think about how to get them dressed up without giving the surprise away.
Confirm the Spot
For venues like Yao, call ahead to check for private events on your date.
Success Factors
What Makes the Session Work
Four things, in our experience, drive the strongest results:
Light
Afternoon and golden-hour light turns good photos into great ones
Spot
A location that means something to you, or one with strong visuals
Real Reactions
Genuine emotion always reads stronger than a posed face
Prep
A clear plan means you can focus on the moment, not logistics
