Afternoon light and after-dark sessions
All shoots start in the afternoon and run into the evening. Late-day light gives warm tones and long shadows. Sessions that go past sunset shift into a different mode: neon signs, vendor carts, reflections on wet pavement.
Pick night work if you want mood and atmosphere. Pick afternoon if you want softer color and faces lit by daylight.
