We photograph you the way a cinematographer frames a character: wide compositions, hard contrast and layers of city around you. We direct you throughout, so the result feels like a sequence of film stills rather than a collection of snapshots. Day or after dark, we build the route around the light.

What you get
Photos that look like film stills
Strong contrast, reflections, and framing that puts something in front of you and something behind you. The files are big enough to print large, and they hold up at that size.
The look comes from three decisions we make on every frame rather than from a filter applied afterward:
- Where you stand, so the background carries depth instead of sitting flat behind you
- Where the light comes from, which is the difference between a portrait and a still from a film
- How tight the crop is, since wide framing reads as cinema and a tight headshot does not
Most of these sessions run after dark, when the contrast is strongest and the city does half the work for us. Neons run from 7pm all year. In Chinatown we start at 7pm sharp, because the red neon spot can close shortly after. Mondays are noticeably quieter, with fewer food stalls.
Daylight versions work too, and we shoot those in harder shadow and heavier grade rather than trying to imitate evening.
A 1-hour session runs Chong Nonsi then Chinatown, about 30 minutes each and 10 minutes apart.
A 2-hour session adds the Samyan Mitrtown rooftop on the 5th floor in between, with each leg about 10 minutes.
7-Eleven can be added as a short stop, shot with flash and a fish-eye.

Add-ons are priced separately: hair and makeup from 4,000 THB, styling advice from 500 THB, and 24h delivery on Sabai Session for 2,000 THB. Where a venue charges entry or a minimum spend, that is paid on the spot, including ours.
On the shorter packages we order the taxi or tuk-tuk and travel together, and you pay cash. Transport is included on the 4-hour package.
How we shoot
The craft behind the look
Three settings, three different lighting kits, decided before we start rather than while you stand there waiting. Which one your session uses depends on where you want to shoot, and it changes what we carry.
Flash where it is allowed. Interiors, hallways and private spaces give us full control over direction, contrast and separation, so we can build the light around the frame rather than work around whatever is overhead.
Pocket LED where it is not. Many elevated venues restrict flash. In quiet corners we add a small handheld key light without bothering anyone, and the view behind you does the rest of the work.
Drinks at the rooftops are paid on the day, including ours. At Yao that's about 300 THB each. At Lebua it's from about 1,000 THB per person, and there's an enforced dress code: long trousers and closed shoes for men, smart casual for women. Yao is the cheaper option if the budget matters.
Available light on the street. Signage, food stalls and shop windows give enough colour and contrast to shoot with nothing added. Crowds are not an obstacle. We shoot through them, around them, and use them as part of the frame.
For couples and solo sessions, we direct the movement, posture and position clearly, then let the location carry the other half of the frame. You are never left wondering what to do, but the result does not look over-posed.

Wardrobe and add-ons
Wardrobe reads harder at this contrast
Wardrobe matters more here than on a softer session. The contrast is higher, so clothing reads harder against signage and skyline than it does in flat daylight.
We steer people toward two directions:
- Streetwear for the tighter, busier locations. Layers, texture and bolder colour hold their shape against signage
- Tailoring or smart casual for the elevated and open settings, where the surroundings are already doing something formal
Sunglasses are a strong addition. At several spots we can catch reflections in the lenses, which is a small thing that changes a frame completely.
If you want multiple looks, plan for two outfits per hour. That gives us enough time to shoot each one properly rather than rushing the second.
Want to push it further? A few add-ons make a real difference to this kind of work:
- Stylist from 500 THB, for outfit selection and shopping beforehand, so you arrive with the right pieces already in hand
- Makeup and hair from 4,000 THB, for men and women. Our team uses products that hold up under flash and in wind, so you look the same in the last frame as the first
- Classic car for arrival frames or a drive between locations. A vintage British car takes the whole set somewhere else entirely. From 15,000 THB for 4 hours, booked directly with the rental company, with a handler who stays with the car

Depends where the route goes. Rooftop drinks are paid on the day, including ours, at about 300 THB each at Yao or from 1,000 THB per person at Lebua. Taxis on the 1-hour and 2-hour packages are cash, usually a few hundred baht for the whole route, and transport is included on the 4-hour.
Hair and makeup from 4,000 THB and styling from 500 THB if you want them. Nothing is charged per image afterwards.
No. Most of these sessions do run in the evening, because the contrast is easiest to work with then, but the same approach holds in daylight. We shoot into harder shadow, use tighter framing and grade it differently.

No, and often they help. Movement behind you is part of what makes a frame read as cinema rather than as a portrait.
We know which side streets stay quieter, when the stalls clear, and how to use foot traffic as part of the composition instead of waiting it out.
Add 15 minutes to whatever your map app tells you, or 20 for Lebua, and more if it has just rained. Bangkok traffic in the evening is unpredictable and the start time is not.
That matters most in Chinatown, where we start at 7pm sharp because the red neon spot can close shortly after. Arriving at 7.20pm means losing the frame the whole stop was planned around.
We can wait up to an hour, work under cover, postpone to another day, or cancel with your deposit refunded in full. The choice is yours.
Worth knowing that wet asphalt actually helps this look, since the reflections do a lot of the work. A shower that has just stopped is close to ideal.
We are photographers, so video stays limited. A photo reel cut from your session photos is 2,000 THB and takes no shooting time.
A real teaser of up to about 30 seconds can be filmed during the session, but filming takes time away from photos, so more video means fewer images. We don't offer long films or cinematic edits.
A 30% deposit by card holds your date. The full amount is paid in cash after the session, in Thai baht, and we refund the deposit to your card straight away with a receipt.
Venue drinks, entry fees and taxis are separate and paid on the spot.
