Working indoors gives us full control of the result with nothing riding on weather, a golden-hour window, or a busy public spot. Controlled key, fill and separation lighting lets us shape the face precisely, balancing dimension against a clean, approachable finish.

A private, air-conditioned room makes a calmer family photo studio in Bangkok than any outdoor spot: no heat, no crowds, and nothing competing for anyone's attention. We direct where people stand while leaving room for the interaction that keeps a frame from looking arranged.
For small children, a contained room can also be easier than a busy street: fewer distractions, no heat, and somewhere to pause when they need it. Parents tell us the kids enjoyed it, and that difference is visible in the frames. Bangkok portrait studio
Personal sittings, couples, and expecting parents. We book afternoon or evening slots when that suits your energy better, and we keep the pace loose rather than running a fixed shot list at you.
A natural-light room with tall windows suits this work particularly well, and the result stays warm rather than clinical. For portraits made out in the city, see our on-location work.
Commercial and campaign work
Controlled light means a whole set of images holds the same colour and tone, frame to frame, which matters when they run together across a site, a deck or a campaign. We shoot people rather than objects, so this covers brand and campaign imagery with talent in front of the camera.
Larger productions run in a room with a full lighting grid. Campaigns that need a cyclorama wall and a full grip setup are best run at Cinnamon. A full commercial day of 8 hours is 50,000 THB plus the room.
Portfolio and comp cards
Comp cards, a full agency book, or content for your own brand. Multiple backdrops and lighting patterns in one booking mean the book shows range without needing several days and several addresses.

What your session costs in total
Your total has two parts: our fee and the room. When you hire us to shoot, we reserve the room ourselves. The deposit, our fee, and any add-ons are all settled through one booking, so there is no second supplier to chase.
We reserve rooms only for clients we are shooting for. If you want the room on its own, that is handled separately and it lives on its own page. The studios are on Google Maps and take their own bookings, so you can contact them directly.

The room rate varies: a cyclorama with a full grip package costs more than a furnished natural-light room. We quote the exact figure alongside your package, and we work with four rooms across the city so there is one to fit the job and the budget. Rates and descriptions for each are on our room hire page.
The white-backdrop room is the default for controlled light, but the backdrop is too small for groups and families. For those we use a furnished natural-light room instead.

Jay has worked behind the camera since 2018 and started with 3 years as a photojournalist. In the studio he works on how light shapes a face and on small posture changes, which is what makes a headshot or family portrait look relaxed. He speaks English and Russian.
Jami has shot since 2016 and studied fashion communication at NIFT in India. She treats a model, portfolio or fashion shoot as one composition: clothes, color, hair, makeup and pose. She also leads our makeup, hair and styling, and speaks English and Hindi.

Arrive a few minutes early for a short talk-through. It keeps the booked time productive rather than spending the first fifteen minutes deciding.
If you have booked our makeup and hair team, they arrive before your slot starts. If you are doing your own, allow extra time before you get there. Every room we work in has a dedicated changing and makeup station.

Makeup and hair
Our in-house artists work only on our own bookings. They know the lighting we use, which products read well on camera, and how to reset a look between outfit changes. From 4,000 THB.
Unsure what to wear, or want a wardrobe consultation beforehand? Our stylists help you arrive with clothes that hold up on camera and still look like you. Styling advice from 500 THB, up to full personal shopping and on-set styling.
A short vertical edit cut from your session photos for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 2,000 THB. It takes no shooting time. We are photographers, so we don't offer long films or brand films.
Extra retouching
Every delivered image is already edited and colour graded. If a particular frame needs deeper work beyond that, advanced retouching is available per image at 300 THB.
Our fee starts at 11,000 THB for about one hour, and the room is from 850 THB per hour. We quote the fee, the room and any add-ons as one figure before you book, and nothing is added on the day.
Who picks the room, and what if it's wrong for my shoot?
We do, based on what you're shooting, and we say which one and why before you commit. The white-backdrop room is our default for headshots, but it is too small for a group, so families and teams go in a furnished natural-light room. If you'd rather see options, we'll send two with the price difference.
How fast will I get my photos?
Standard delivery is within 3 days in a private gallery. Sanook Photoshoot and Sawasdee Deluxe include 24-hour delivery, and you can add it to the 1-hour package for 2,000 THB.
How many outfit changes can I bring?
As many as you like, and every room has a changing and makeup area. For a 1-hour booking, two or three outfits is realistic, and for 2 hours, three to five. Change time comes out of your booked hours.
Who will photograph me?
One photographer covers your whole session. Jay usually takes headshots, family and portrait sittings in English or Russian, and Jami takes fashion, model and portfolio shoots in English or Hindi. You can ask for either when you book.
Can I use the images commercially?
For a personal sitting, a portfolio or a headshot, the files are yours to use as you like, including on a company site. If a brand will run them as advertising, that's a commercial booking priced differently, so tell us the intended use when you enquire.
What if I need to move the date?
Give us at least 48 hours and we move the deposit to a new date with nothing extra to pay. Inside 48 hours the room is already committed, so the deposit is lost.
What payment methods do you take?
A 30% deposit confirms the booking. The balance is due in cash (Thai Baht) afterward. We also take Wise, Revolut, Thai QR and cryptocurrency (USDT-TRC20, Bitcoin, USDT-ERC20), and full VAT invoices are available on request.
