Bangkok Wedding Photographer
We cover half-day elopements, full wedding days and multi-day celebrations, in Bangkok and across both coasts. Photo and film from one crew, in English and Thai, wherever in Thailand your day happens.

Coast
Weddings we've covered
Real ceremonies, not styled shoots with models, across resorts, villas, ballrooms and beaches.
One crew, planned around how your day actually runs
Some of the most important work happens once the ceremony is over, guests are eating and the couple may be away changing or taking a break. What our crew does with that time decides how the second half of your gallery looks.
That is when we prepare the second half of the day. Someone walks the reception room before it fills, finds where the light will land during the speeches, and settles where to stand for the first dance so the band stays out of frame.
By the time the reception starts, we have already made those decisions, so we are not figuring out positions in front of two hundred guests. When the weather or the running order moves, we adapt from a plan rather than from scratch.
On our two-person coverage, two cameras work different jobs. One stays wider for the room and the reactions around the edges; the other works closer on faces and moments.

We have worked weddings in Thailand for over a decade and have covered more than 100 ceremonies across the two names we trade under. Beach vows for eight people, city ballrooms for four hundred, and multi-day celebrations that never leave one resort. Wedding days run with Siamelle, our sister studio under the same ownership, and Bird and his team lead every wedding we accept. Booking is direct with us either way, at the same rates.
Hiring a wedding videographer in Bangkok
A film is the only record that keeps the voices. Everything below follows from that, because sound decides where a filmmaker stands and when they cannot move.
Vows go onto independent microphones rather than off the camera, so the words survive a rooftop wind or a ballroom PA. On photo and film bookings the two operators split the room: the filmmaker holds a locked angle through the ceremony so the vows run unbroken, while the photographer moves.
Bangkok adds two things to plan around. Drone airspace over most of the city is restricted, so we confirm what your venue allows before you pay for it. And moving between a hotel suite, a temple and a reception is a traffic problem rather than a distance one, which is what the call sheet is built around.
Bilingual vows run long. A locked angle carries both languages unbroken, so the edit is never forced to cut mid-sentence to hide a camera move.

Wedding packages in Bangkok and nationwide
Every package below is a starting point, with travel anywhere in Thailand already included. Hiring us in Chiang Mai costs the same as hiring us on Koh Samui; there is no separate domestic travel fee added to the final invoice. The right package depends on how long the celebration runs and how many parts of it happen at the same time.
- Express photo editing, full gallery back in 24 hours ฿10k
- Express film edit, delivered in 7 days ฿15k
- Aerial drone coverage, where the venue and airspace allow ฿13k
- Raw footage on request, for up to 2 months after your wedding ฿9k
- Extended audio across the speeches and reception On request
The list below applies to an elopement for two and to a four-day celebration alike. Only the crew size and the hours move.
- A private online gallery of the full edited set, at high resolution
- Photos back in 10 days and films in 5 weeks, with express options on both
- 1 year of backup, so the files are recoverable if yours are lost
- Color corrected frame by frame, never pushed through a batch preset
- Print-ready files, no watermarks and no charge per image
- Travel to any province, built into the rate
- English and Thai on site, so venue staff and monks get briefed directly
Extended hours run ฿10,000 per hour for photo and film together, or ฿6,000 per hour for one of the two. We quote multi-day bookings one at a time, since no two of them divide up the same way.
A 30% deposit holds the date and is non-refundable, because holding it means declining everything else that weekend. The balance falls due on the day. Payment by bank transfer, Wise or Thai QR, and we issue invoices for planners who need them. Questions on any of it go to team@lukfoto.com.
A line-by-line breakdown of what lands in each package sits on the Siamelle packages page.
Indian and Pakistani weddings
Many of the South Asian weddings we cover run for three to five days on a single property. We staff the whole run of functions with one crew, so nothing gets handed to a different team halfway through.

What families ask us is rarely about the rituals. It is how the crew divides across the days, and what we need from the running order before the first function starts.
Coverage does not divide evenly across the days
A five-function celebration does not need five identical crews. Mehndi and haldi sit close and domestic, and we send a smaller team that reads the room.
Sangeet and the reception get two people at minimum, one working the stage and one working the tables. The ceremony carries the most weight and takes the full crew. We build the staffing around your running order, function by function, and we itemize it in the quote.
We light for heavy wardrobe
Zari and mirror work throw light straight back at a flash. We bring off-axis lighting to every function so the thread keeps its texture, and we schedule family portraits into warm late-afternoon light where the timeline allows it.
Tell us the outfit plan when you enquire and we bring the right kit for it. It costs you nothing extra and it changes what the reception frames look like.
What we settle before the first function
We walk the running order through with your pandit, granthi, imam or planner ahead of time, so seating rules and camera positions are agreed before anyone is standing there.
We also confirm outside-vendor clearance, drone permission and the muhurat time with your venue directly, in Thai if that is faster. A night ceremony changes the lighting plan and the crew we bring, so we would rather know it early than on the day.
Five things that let us quote accurately
- Your dates and how many functions run across them.
- The venue, if it is confirmed, and whether every function is on it.
- Whether both partners get ready in the same place. It is the single biggest factor in crew size.
- The ceremony hour, so we can plan the lighting and the crew around it.
- Whether you want film as well as photo, or only one of the two.
The rest of what we shoot
Couples rarely book only the ceremony. Most add something before or after it, and booking those with us keeps the color and the look consistent across everything you end up printing.

Pre-wedding sessions
A styled couple shoot in the days before the ceremony, usually while both families are already in the country. Different locations, different clothes, no timetable pressing on it.
Surprise proposals
Scouted ahead and shot from a distance, so the moment stays yours. Plenty of these turn into a wedding booking with us twelve months later.
Portraits and engagements
Couple and family sessions, useful when relatives have flown in and this is the only week everyone is in the same place.
Wedding videographer in Bangkok
Engagement films, welcome dinners and next-day sessions, shot by the crew that covers your ceremony.
Makeup and styling
Introductions to artists we have worked with repeatedly, including people used to a wide range of skin tones and hair types. No commission changes hands.
Editing and retouching
Color work on your own files, or on a gallery somebody else shot. Every frame corrected on its own.
Hire us anywhere in the country
Travel anywhere in Thailand is included, with no separate fee to reach you. We take no commission from resorts or venues, so where you choose to marry does not affect what we recommend.
If you are hiring a Bangkok wedding photographer for a city ceremony, we build the schedule around traffic rather than distance, and plan rooftop and riverside portraits around the best light. Outside the city we work both coasts on the same rate card.
- Bangkok and the surrounding provinces Ballrooms, riverside hotels and rooftop receptions, with a crew already based here.
- Phuket Clifftop ceremonies with the sun setting into open water, and villa bookings across the south.
- Koh Samui Resort and villa work on the Gulf, where Bird's team is based year-round.
- Krabi Limestone cliffs and boat-access beaches, where we plan the call time around the tide table.
- Hua Hin Within driving distance of Bangkok, which works well for large guest lists and same-day crew travel.
- Pattaya Large-capacity celebrations, with convenient access from U-Tapao Airport.
Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Koh Lanta, Khao Lak and Phi Phi are all workable on request, and we take international bookings by arrangement. If your ceremony happens somewhere that never appears in a brochure, we will still be standing there.
What couples say
We eloped at a small temple ceremony and were not sure we needed anyone there at all. We booked the elopement package anyway, and our parents cried looking at the photos. They were not even at the ceremony.
Wioletta Karge, Poland
Our reception ran long and the crew stayed with us, no clock watching. The film alone made the whole day worth it. We have watched it more times than I want to admit.
Desmond Achterberg, Netherlands
I was nervous about the heat by the ceremony hour, but they worked fast through golden hour and it all looks effortless. The gallery and the film both came back exactly when they said.
Solveig Andresen, Norway
The ones couples ask first
A photo-only or film-only booking is usually one person. Photo and film together runs as a team of two: one photographer and one filmmaker.
Larger and multi-day bookings scale to five, so two suites, a ceremony and a reception can run at once without anything going uncovered. Everyone on your day is a professional we work with regularly, not an inexperienced last-minute substitute.
Photos come back in 10 days as standard, and films in 5 weeks. Most studios take six to eight weeks for both.
If you need them sooner, express photo editing puts the full gallery in your hands in 24 hours, and express film editing delivers in 7 days. Raw footage is available on request for up to 2 months after the wedding.
Up to 400 professionally edited images on the 4-hour bookings, and over 800 on the 8-hour ones. The Full Team package delivers over 800 for each day it runs. Every image is edited and delivered at high resolution, with no charge per image and no watermarks.
Dry-season dates on the Andaman side go earliest, often eight to twelve months out. Gulf and mainland dates move later. We cap how many weddings we accept each year, so an early message costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Bird and his team lead every wedding we accept. He also runs Siamelle, the second brand we operate, and his background and full portfolio are on the Siamelle about page rather than repeated here.
Yes. A highlight set only shows the frames that survived selection. A complete gallery from a real booking shows what an entire day looks like once every image is in front of you. Ask and we will send one.
