Bangkok | Sessions for Two

Bangkok pre-wedding photoshoot
with a cinematic
film look

A session for two built around candid moments and the city's most photogenic streets. Black mist filters and film-grain editing give the images a softer, timeless character instead of a clinically digital look.

Why Couples Book Us

Skill, speed, and more from every session

01

24-hour turnaround

Your photos arrive the next day, edited and ready to share, rather than weeks later.

02

A generous edited gallery

You get the variety of the session intact: different angles, candid moments, movement, and the frames that actually tell the story. Not a curated handful.

03

More from your session time

We plan locations and transitions before the day, so two hours produces real variety without half the session spent standing around deciding where to go next.

What couples say about
working with us

Their stories give you a feel for what to expect on the day of your session.

★★★★★

Luk captured our love story with care and attention. The cinematic editing and quick delivery exceeded our expectations. We loved the candid shots in Chinatown and the romantic sunset frames by the river. Professional, creative, and made us feel comfortable during the entire session.

★★★★★

We shot at 4 different spots and honestly the variety in our album is amazing. The editing gave everything this dreamy vintage look. Temple frames, street art, night market vibes, all in one session. My friends keep asking who shot them because they look so different from what everyone else comes back with.

★★★★★

Had our session during a quick stopover and Luk made it work. We only had one afternoon available and he planned everything efficiently. The riverside location at sunset was gorgeous and the night market frames have so much energy. Really happy with how natural we look considering we're both camera shy.

Our Approach

Shot on location,
film-inspired

We run each Bangkok pre-wedding photoshoot from afternoon into the evening, or early morning. Bangkok's late-day light is soft and directional, which flatters portraits naturally and avoids the harsh midday sun. Mornings give you the same soft light with quieter temple grounds.

Digital files become film-inspired through black mist filters and a grain edit. The result has vintage character and real emotion, the kind of look that ages well rather than dating itself.

Our style leans candid. Less posing, more interaction. Throughout the session we guide you through movement and small interactions that produce genuine reactions on camera.

The session feels relaxed. Energetic in the streets, intimate at the riverside, playful in the night market.

Video & Photo

Finding the
right balance

Want both video and stills from the same session? Here's how it works in practice.

We are photographers, so video stays deliberately limited. A photo reel made from your session is 2,000 THB and takes no shooting time. A real teaser video of up to about 30 seconds can be filmed during the session, but filming takes time away from photos, so more video means fewer images. We don't offer long films or cinematic pre-wedding videos. If you want a cinematic film, that runs through Siamelle at full-film prices.

A pre-wedding session books with us directly, with photos and a simple short video. Only a full cinematic film goes to Siamelle.

Planning & Guidelines

What you need to know
before your session

Best timing & locations

Most sessions run 3pm to 7pm. That window covers afternoon golden hour, sunset, and the first glow of city neon. Three different visual moods in one session.

We also shoot mornings, 8am to 10am. Temple grounds like Wat Pho are cooler and far quieter before the crowds build, so you get space around you in the frame. Worth choosing if you want temples without the crush, or if the rest of your day is already booked.

Choose from the city's strongest spots for pre-wedding photos: Talat Noi art streets, Maha Chulalongkorn Park, Song Wat Road, riverside temples, Chinatown markets, and night scenes lit by neon signs. Song Wat is best avoided at weekends because of crowds and narrow pavements.

For diverse coverage across multiple locations, plan on 3 to 4 hours.

Critical dress code information

⚠️ Temples: Bridal dresses, white gowns, evening gowns, and tuxedos are not allowed. Casual clothing only. Thai traditional costumes are permitted. Indian attire is allowed if it covers shoulders and knees, but bridal-style Indian outfits are not.

Parks: no bridal dresses or veils. Evening wear, cocktail dresses and suits are fine in the big parks like Lumphini and Benchakitti. Bridal outfits work at Benchakitti in the quieter parts.

Rooftop bars: No bridal attire or tuxedos. Evening gowns are fine.

Bridal gowns and formal attire work well at street, art district, riverside, and urban locations. Chulalongkorn also works well for bridal outfits. Benedict Studio works if you'd rather have an indoor setting, though it's standalone because it sits far from everything else. Plan your outfit changes around this.

What to bring

  1. Two or three outfit changes create real variety in your album. Mix casual street style with one elegant formal look.
  2. Solid colours photograph better than loud patterns.
  3. Props are encouraged. Flowers, gowns, and rings all add character.
  4. Temples and most locations have free bathrooms for changing, or we use a cafe and buy a drink. On the 4-hour package private transport is included, which gives you a private space between stops. Changes count toward your session time.

Booking timeline: contact us at least 2 weeks ahead to lock in your preferred date and time slot.

Weather and rescheduling

The weather here can shift fast, especially from May to October. Light rain rarely stops a session. We adjust the location order, work with covered spots, or use the rain itself as an element.

If it rains we can wait up to an hour, postpone to another day, or cancel with your deposit refunded in full. The choice is yours.

Rain-friendly locations:

  • Wat Pho covered courtyards
  • Chinatown shophouse alleys
  • Riverside hotels and indoor venues

Best months to shoot:

  • November to February: clearest skies, lowest rain risk
  • June to October: higher rain risk but still very shootable

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions from
couples

Things couples ask a Bangkok pre-wedding photographer before booking. If something isn't covered here, send a message and we'll answer directly.

Temple entry is paid on the day, including our ticket. On the 1-hour and 2-hour packages, getting between locations is a taxi or tuk-tuk paid in cash, so keep a few hundred baht on you. Makeup, styling and the classic car are optional extras, and none of them is added unless you ask for it.
Often not. Two weeks ahead gives you the best choice of dates and time slots, but same-day and next-day sessions happen when the schedule has room. Send your dates and we'll tell you straight away what's open.
Yes. The files are yours for personal use: prints, albums, save-the-dates, invitations and social media, with no watermark and no extra licence fee. They're shot on a high-resolution body, so large prints hold up.
Yes. We book an air-conditioned room for you, charged on top of the package from 850 THB per hour. It keeps you out of the heat and works in any weather, but it gives up the street character most couples come for, so many split the time: indoors first, then out into the city. Details are on our studio sessions page.
Yes, anywhere in Thailand, in the same candid, film-inspired style. Packages and details are on our ceremony coverage page. Planning a surprise first? See our proposal photography page.
A 30% deposit by card secures your date. The full amount is paid in cash, in Thai baht, after the session, and we refund the deposit to your card straight away with a receipt. If cash isn't possible, Wise, Revolut or Thai QR all work.
