A Private Session, Not a Tour Group

A tourist photoshoot in Bangkok with us means we meet you at your hotel or your first location, run a route we have planned together, and deliver your edited images on the timeline your package sets. Nobody else joins your booking. We plan the route and frame around crowds wherever we can.

We have spent years working out which alley in Chinatown frames neon signs cleanly, where afternoon light hits old wooden shutters, and which canal routes are worth the longtail boat ride. That kind of thing only comes from being local.

Fully private sessions
No other clients sharing your slot, and we frame around crowds wherever we can. Longer sessions include private transport so you do not lose your day to traffic.
Where to stay
Stay central. The old town around Rattanakosin Island puts you close to the temples and markets. Nana, Thong Lo, Ekkamai and Huai Khwang sit further out, and traffic can eat two hours of your day from there.
Getting around
Cheapest: ride-hailing apps like Bolt. Most fun: tuktuks. Fastest: motorbike taxis. If you take a motorbike taxi, confirm your travel insurance covers you.

Temples, without the queue
Wat Pho and Loha Prasat are our two go-to temples. Both have the architecture you came for, with far more room to work than the busiest tourist stops. We usually skip Wat Arun and the Grand Palace for private sessions. Both can be slower to work in and much harder to photograph without busy backgrounds. For something larger, we take clients to The Ancient City instead, an open-air park with space to work and almost nobody in the background.

Markets we can actually work in
Pak Khlong Talat, the flower market, runs around the clock. Wholesalers sort jasmine, orchids and roses by the thousand, and the colour does half the composition for us. We schedule market stops for late afternoon or evening, when the light softens and the place is busiest.

Cafes we use as backdrops
Bubble in the Forest Cafe wraps you in tropical plants. After the Rain Coffee and Gallery rotates exhibitions across pared-back white rooms. The Bunny's Hut Cafe brings pastel colour for softer frames. We use these as outfit-change stops between bigger locations.

Baan Suan Sathon
A garden restaurant where tree roots grow through the floor. Our pick for couple sessions that need a quieter indoor backdrop with character.

Chinatown after dark
Lhong Tou Cafe on Yaowarat occupies a restored Chinese mansion where red lanterns throw warm shadows across antique furniture. We pair it with a walk down Yaowarat Road once the neon signs come on, which makes a strong closing leg for an evening session.

Perspective from the water
A canal route through Thonburi puts you in residential waterways where houses on stilts lean over the water. Most of this leg happens from the boat itself, so we plan a shorter setup window at the pier.

Old streets, new creative scene
Song Wat Road is one of our favourite mid-session stops. Renovated shophouses now hold galleries and cocktail bars, and the architecture photographs best at golden hour. Worth knowing: a pair of elephant pants from any market costs almost nothing, is comfortable for a long session, and reads clearly in the frames.

Add a Thai costume session

A traditional Thai costume session is one of our most-booked add-ons. The rental shop dresses you, does hair and makeup, and we take it from there.

Costumes run 200 to 500 THB and hair and makeup around 1,300 THB. Children's sizes are available.

Common Questions

What does a travel photoshoot in Bangkok cost?

From 11,000 THB for about an hour, 19,000 THB for about two, and 34,000 THB for about four with transport and RAW files included. Sessions in other cities start at 34,000 THB with our flights and accommodation already inside the rate.

What time of day do you shoot?

All day. Late afternoon usually gives us softer light, but temple opening hours and crowd patterns vary by location. If your itinerary only leaves a morning free, we build the route around that instead.

How fast do I get the photos?

Standard delivery is 3 days. Sanook Photoshoot and Sawasdee Deluxe include 24h delivery, and it is available on Sabai Session as a paid add-on. RAW files are available on request at no charge, and included by default on the longest packages.

What if it rains on the day?

We reschedule. Rain here usually clears within an hour or two, so often we just shift the start time by an hour. For sessions outside the city we agree the fallback with you before anything is booked, since flights and accommodation are already inside your rate.

Can you combine several cities into one trip?

Yes. We plan multi-city itineraries with one route, one photographer, and one delivered gallery. Useful if you are doing the capital plus the islands, or the capital plus the north.

Do you bring hair and makeup?

It is an add-on, not included by default. Hair and makeup starts at 4,000 THB and a stylist from 500 THB. Tell us when you enquire and we quote the artist's time and travel.
