Old train station photoshoot, vintage by default

Working trains, abandoned carriages, vintage signage. Go for it if that is the look you want. Otherwise, it works as an add-on to Talat Noi or Chinatown.

What this location is

A specific vintage vibe

The old Bangkok train station has a strong, specific aesthetic. Some trains are still in service, others sit abandoned on side tracks.

If that vintage industrial look is what you want, this is the right location. If you want something softer or more colourful, look elsewhere.

It is close to Talat Noi and Chinatown, so it pairs well with either as part of a longer session.

We shoot here in the afternoon. The light is softer on the metal and concrete, and the platforms get less reflective glare.

Combine with

Pairs well with two nearby locations

Most clients book the train station as part of a multi-spot session. The two best pairs are nearby and visually different, which gives more variety in one outing.

  • Talat Noi Retro backdrops, painted walls, old cars. A natural extension of the train station look.
  • Chinatown by day Bright colour, daylight shadows, lively storefronts. Strong contrast to the quieter train platforms.

Pair the train station with another spot

The station works well as one of two or three stops. Most clients pick the Sanook (2h) or Sawasdee Deluxe (4h) package and pair it with Talat Noi or Chinatown.
