Loha Prasat
Photoshoot
Private photo session at the Metal Castle. We work the spires, courtyards and inner halls, then pair it with a second spot nearby.
Our Loha Prasat photoshoots
Tight, focused, and well-lit
We act as your Loha Prasat photographer for the afternoon. The black metal spires against the sky give a clean graphic backdrop, and the inner stairwell is one of our favourite frames in Bangkok.
Loha Prasat itself takes about 30 minutes, so we always pair it with a second spot. Wat Saket is 6 minutes on foot, and Wat Suthat and the Giant Swing are close by too.
The inner part can close any time before 5pm, so we start by 4pm to be sure of getting inside, and we plan the order of shots around that. Note that kissing photos are not allowed inside, but close poses like holding hands or foreheads touching work well.
Want to wear traditional dress? There's a rental shop beside Milky Tree Coffee right here, with outfits from around 300 THB, or browse the Thai costume rental options before booking.

Loha Prasat itself takes about 30 minutes. Wat Saket is a 6-minute walk, and Wat Suthat with the Giant Swing is nearby as well. Either pairs naturally in the same booking.
The inner section can close any time before 5pm, so we start by 4pm to be sure of getting inside, then work outward and finish in the courtyard with the late afternoon light.

Before your Loha Prasat photoshoot
What is the dress code?
Women cover shoulders, belly and knees. Men cannot wear tank tops, and shorts are fine. The temple lends shawls and sarongs free, but they don't look great in photos, so dressing appropriately is better.
Wedding dresses, veils and bridal gowns aren't allowed at temples. Thai traditional costume is fine.
What time do we shoot?
You can start any time the temple is open, though we plan around the interior closing, which can happen any time before 5pm. Starting by 4pm makes sure we get inside. Late afternoon gives the softest light in the courtyard. We avoid roughly 10am to 2pm, when the light is harsh.
How do we get there?
The nearest MRT station is Sam Yot, about a 10-minute walk. The Khlong Saen Saep canal boat stops at Phan Fa Lilat pier, right next to the temple. Add 15 minutes to your travel time, more if it has just rained. We meet at Milky Tree Cafe, right by the temple.
Is the entrance fee included?
No. It's 20 THB per person, paid on the day, and that includes our ticket.
How many people can join the photoshoot?
Solo, couples, families and small groups all work. Loha Prasat has tighter walkways inside the spire, so for larger groups please mention the head count when you book.
Can we add a second location?
Yes. The package covers 1 to 2 locations. Wat Saket is a 6-minute walk, and Wat Suthat with the Giant Swing is nearby as well. Both pair naturally with Loha Prasat in one booking.
If you pick Wat Saket, note it has many stairs and you need to arrive before 5:30pm.
Ready to book your Loha Prasat photoshoot?
Send us your dates and we will hold the slot. You'll work with the same photographer from booking to delivery, and your session is never shared with other clients.
