If you have been researching pre-wedding photography in Bangkok, you have probably noticed that prices vary a lot. Some photographers list packages from 5,000 baht. Others charge 80,000 baht or more. That gap is confusing when you are trying to decide what is fair and what you are actually paying for. This guide breaks down what affects pre-wedding photo package prices in Bangkok in 2026, what to look for in a package, and what questions to ask before you book.

Pre-wedding photoshoot Bangkok package price comparison

What affects the price of a Bangkok pre-wedding package?

Pre-wedding photography prices in Bangkok are shaped by a handful of real factors. Understanding them helps you compare packages without just looking at the number at the top of the page.

  • Session length: A one-hour session at one location costs significantly less than a four-hour session across six locations. Longer sessions require more planning, more editing time, and more delivered photos.
  • Number of photos delivered: This is one of the biggest variables couples overlook. Some packages at low price points deliver 30 to 50 edited selects. Others deliver every photo from the session, hundreds of images, at a comparable or only slightly higher price. The number matters for how complete your album feels.
  • Editing turnaround: Standard editing in Bangkok typically takes two to four weeks. Photographers offering 24-hour or 48-hour delivery are building a faster workflow into their pricing. This is genuinely faster, not a shortcut in quality.
  • Transportation: Sessions covering multiple locations far apart require either travel time or private transport. Some packages include this; many do not. A four-hour session that includes private transportation between up to six locations is a different value proposition from one where you arrange your own taxis between spots.
  • Equipment: Professional full-frame cameras with prime lenses produce noticeably different results from entry-level gear, particularly in low-light settings like Chinatown at night or dimly lit temples.
  • Visual sense and editing style: Price reflects the photographer's ability to see, compose, and light a scene. Look at the actual photos: how do they handle emotion, movement, difficult lighting? How consistent is the editing across a full gallery? The photos tell you more than the years in business.

What do Bangkok pre-wedding photographers typically charge?

The Bangkok market in 2026 spans a wide range. Budget packages from newer photographers or agencies with multiple photographers on rotation start around 5,000 to 9,000 baht for a short session with a limited number of edited photos. Mid-range packages from established photographers with a clear style typically run between 10,000 and 25,000 baht for one to two hours. Higher-end packages with extended sessions, included transportation, RAW files, and fast turnaround go from 30,000 baht upwards.

The question worth asking at every price point is: how many photos do I actually receive, and when? A 6,000-baht package that delivers 30 selects in three weeks and a 19,000-baht package that delivers 600 photos within 24 hours are not directly comparable even though both technically describe a "pre-wedding photoshoot package."

Our packages and what is included

We offer three pre-wedding photo packages in Bangkok. Every package delivers every photo from the session. Not curated selects. Here is what each covers:

Sanook Photoshoot - 19,000 THB (approx. $610 USD)

Around two hours, up to four locations, up to 600 professional images, 20 to 40 unique photo spots. Express 24-hour editing, unlimited outfit changes within session time, photo reel available on request, RAW files available, two-year cloud backup. The most popular package for couples who want real variety across Bangkok's different neighbourhoods.

Sawasdee Deluxe - 34,000 THB (approx. $1,095 USD)

Around four hours, up to six locations, unlimited photos, 30 to 50 unique spots. Private transportation between all locations is included in this package. Express 24-hour editing, unlimited outfit changes, RAW files, two-year cloud backup. The right choice for couples who want comprehensive coverage, moving between locations like Wat Pho, the riverside, Song Wat Road, and Chinatown in a single session without worrying about taxis.

A 30% deposit secures the booking. Final payment is due after the session, once you have seen the results.

What about shooting outside Bangkok?

Bangkok itself does not have beaches, but Thailand does. We cover other provinces for couples who want to combine their session with a beach or nature setting. Hua Hin is three hours from Bangkok and has wide, quiet beaches. Koh Kood is one of the least developed islands in Thailand. Clear water, no crowds. We also shoot on Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phi Phi, Krabi, Koh Tao, and Koh Pha Ngan.

Outside-Bangkok pricing starts at 34,000 baht for four hours, 44,000 baht for six hours, and 50,000 baht for eight hours. Travel and accommodation for the photographer are additional and depend on the location.

Add-ons that affect your total cost

The base package covers the photographer, session time, editing, and delivery. Couples often add one or more of the following:

  • Makeup and hair styling: From 2,500 THB. Professional artists using premium brands with touch-ups during the session.
  • Fashion styling consultation: From 1,490 THB. A stylist helps you choose outfits that will photograph well at your chosen locations.
  • Dress rental: Western-style gowns from 2,000 THB, men's suits from 2,000 THB (five-day rental). Useful if you do not want to bring formal wear in your luggage.
  • Classic car: From 15,000 THB for four hours. Vintage British vehicles, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, available to add a different visual element to the session.
  • Advanced retouching: 300 baht per image for detailed skin and background retouching beyond the standard edit.

Questions worth asking any Bangkok pre-wedding photographer before booking

  1. How many edited photos will I receive? Is it a curated selection or the full set?
  2. How long does editing take, and is express delivery available?
  3. Does the package include transport between locations, or do I arrange that myself?
  4. What is your shooting style? Do you direct poses, shoot candidly, or both?
  5. Can I see a full gallery from a recent session rather than just portfolio highlights?
  6. What is the deposit and payment structure?

The answers to these questions tell you a lot more about the value of a package than the price tag alone. A photographer who delivers 50 selects in three weeks and one who delivers 600 photos the next morning are offering very different things, even if the headline price is similar.
