History

The History Behind Bangkok's Chinese Community

This china cemetery was created in 1899 by the Teochew Association of Thailand for Chinese immigrants. It shows the mix of cultures that have made Bangkok what it is today.

In 1996, the city renovated the area. Now it's partly a public park while still preserving the graves.
